This seminar aims to train public officials and compliance officers in potential risks related to products and services offered by financial institutions and company service providers. Practitioners from common and civil law jurisdictions will present corporate structures and modern financial instruments and discuss their potential money laundering and terrorist financing risks in the framework of six workshops. One workshop is dedicated to the issue of cybercrime, including cyberlaundering. The workshops will have a small number of participants only. This encourages discussion and in-depth analysis. The workshops will be repeated; therefore each participant can attend several workshops from a choice of six different topics. Ideally, each institution sends at least two staff members to fully benefit from the range of workshops.

Additionally, the seminar will provide for thematic presentations on specific aspects of Anti Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) and fighting corruption. Sufficient time will be reserved for discussion and your questions. A comprehensive documentation of the workshops and presentations will be disseminated to all participants.
